大紀圏突入!奥伊勢ライド2026

Daikiken Totsunyu! Okuise Ride 2026 is a community cycling event set in Taiki Town, Mie Prefecture, an area framed by the sea, mountains, clear streams, shrines, local food, and small rural landmarks. The ride begins and ends around Koubenomiya Yomo Shrine, a distinctive shrine known as Japan’s only shrine bearing the name “Atama no Miya,” where participants are offered a safety prayer, traffic safety amulet, and sticker. The event is designed as a non-competitive ride on public roads, with an emphasis on enjoying the landscape and local culture rather than racing or time measurement. The surrounding Okuise area gives the ride a varied character. Source material highlights places such as Taiki Park, with its large milk carton monument and roadside totem poles; Nishiki Mukaigahama Tropical Garden, a seaside leisure area with white sand, palms, play facilities, and walking routes; Sankai no Sato Kisei, known for local seafood, dairy products, shiitake mushrooms, and regional goods; and Michi-no-Eki Kitsutsuki-kan, a roadside station near Takihara-no-miya that focuses on woodcraft. Takihara-no-miya, an auxiliary shrine of Ise Jingu’s Inner Shrine, is presented as a well-known spiritual site in Okuise, while Ashigami-san reflects older local faith connected with travelers and walking. Other local stops include the former school-based Nohara community site and Ouchiyama Zoo. Together, these elements make the event a tourism-oriented cycling experience through the natural, culinary, and spiritual landscape of Taiki Town.
