COPPA AYAGAWA 2026
COPPA AYAGAWA 2026 is a road cycling race held in Ayagawa Town, Kagawa Prefecture, as part of the town’s 20th anniversary since municipal merger. Built around the message that there are views visible only to those who take on the challenge, the event uses a special course on the roads around Ayagawa Town Fureai Sports Park and the B&G Marine Center. The program brings together high school cycling competition, general race divisions, and the JBCF Cycle Road Series, giving the event both a competitive and community-focused character. The venue area is also planned as a gathering place for spectators, with viewing points, a large screen for watching the race, local revitalization groups, food vendors, and kitchen cars serving regional products and casual food. Riders are reminded that the course uses ordinary public roads outside the event setting, and the organizer asks participants to respect traffic rules and local residents when previewing the route. Overall, the race is presented not only as a sporting competition but also as a town-wide occasion for residents, visitors, cyclists, and supporters to experience the speed and atmosphere of road racing in Ayagawa.
