ロケットマラソン2026 大阪大会
Rocket Marathon is a road running event with a theme of supporting the development of the space industry. The race presents rockets as symbols of Japan's future, hope, and dreams, and uses the event as a way to support organizations working to make those dreams a reality, including a donation initiative funded from a portion of participant fees. The Osaka edition is staged at the Yodogawa River Park area, giving runners a flat riverside course without hills and with multiple hydration points. The event is designed to be approachable for first-time participants while also serving runners aiming for personal bests. Experienced pacemakers from the organizer's races are planned for the longer road events, helping entrants manage their pace and race effort. Finishers are also scheduled to receive finisher medals, adding a commemorative element to the experience. Facilities described for participants include baggage space, changing rooms, toilets at the main venue and on the course, water and sports drink support, and aid stations. The overall tone is a practical, runner-focused urban river course event organized by Sports One with support from the Sports & Life Promotion Foundation.
