ジャパンエコトラック伊勢熊野 グルメライド2026 in宮川・櫛田川エリア
Japan Eco Track Ise-Kumano Gourmet Ride 2026 in the Miyagawa and Kushida River area is a cycling event created to let participants experience the appeal of the Ise-Kumano Japan Eco Track. The course area centers on the Miyagawa and Kahadakyo route and passes through the municipalities of Taki, Matsusaka, and Odai in Mie Prefecture. It highlights two clear river landscapes: the Miyagawa, known as a place for activities such as SUP and kayaking, and the upper reaches of the Kushida River, known as Kahadakyo. Riders can enjoy quiet rural scenery along the water, including low-water bridges, tea fields, and satoyama countryside that would be easy to miss by car. The area also includes historic sites such as Mezura-toge Pass, associated with legends of Amaterasu Omikami, and Niu Daishi, connected with Kobo Daishi Kukai. The event is positioned as a human-powered journey in the spirit of Japan Eco Track, emphasizing slow travel, seasonal landscapes, local nature, and the cultural atmosphere of the route linking Ise and Kumano. Local specialties from the wider Ise-Kumano area are also presented as part of the regional experience.
