2026年8月15日(土)、16日(日)開催 TSUMAGOI SKYRUN 2026(SKYRUN) 群馬県嬬恋村 パルコール嬬恋
TSUMAGOI SKYRUN 2026 (SKYRUN) is a skyrunning event based at Palcall Tsumagoi in Tsumagoi Village, Gunma Prefecture. The event uses ski-resort terrain and surrounding mountain areas, and participants are asked to cooperate with environmental protection and accident prevention. Running without permission on ski slopes that are open for business is prohibited, and the program may be adjusted up to event day to improve safety or respond to mountain conditions. The race program is built around several mountain-running formats. The Vertical is a climbing-focused race; the Sky Short is described as a beginner to intermediate uphill-and-downhill route over grassland; the Sky Middle follows a ridge and river course for more experienced participants; the Sky Long is presented as the main course through the expansive natural scenery of Tsumagoi; and the Sky Ridge is an expert course that takes on high ridgelines. The Sky Ridge also has an elite category limited to JSA registrants and is identified as a Skyrunner Japan Series ISF-certified race. Participants are expected to have appropriate mountain experience for their chosen category and to carry required safety equipment. Depending on gondola operation, Vertical participants may descend by gondola after racing or may need to descend on their own. Course changes can be made for bad weather, landslides, or other safety reasons, with a shortened plan specified for the Ridge course in severe conditions.
