The Japan Telemark Ski Association membership program is intended for telemark skiing enthusiasts across Japan. Its purpose is to encourage friendship and information exchange among telemarkers while supporting the spread, development, and promotion of telemark skiing. Members are encouraged to take part in activities that the association certifies, supports, or organizes, creating opportunities to meet new people, improve their telemark skiing skills, and enjoy a fuller telemark skiing life. The association also positions its work within the broader future of snow sports, emphasizing their long-term development and continuity. In addition to sport promotion, the association states that it actively addresses environmental issues such as global warming and aims to contribute to the conservation of the global environment. Membership provides an identification number and access to member-related association services, including member news, participation-related benefits for association activities, optional group accident insurance, eligibility pathways connected with certified instruction, and potential routes toward international telemark competition through athlete development stages.
